Welcome to the PARTNeR project webpage

This site provides you with information about this educational project and how to get involved. You will also be able to download all the educational documentation necessary to enjoy Radio Astronomy from your High-School or University.

PARTNeR is an educational project which allows students to perform real Radio Astronomy observations using a 34 meter antenna, located at the NASA Deep Space Communication Complex in Robledo de Chavela, near Madrid (Spain). It is mainly focused on High-School and University students. PARTNeR is the result of a collaboration between NASA and INTA (National Institute for Aerospace Technology).

LAEFF (Laboratory for Space Astrophysics and Theoretical Physics) is in charge of the Coordination Center of PARTNeR. This Coordination Center manages the use of the antenna and gives scientific and technical support to the users.
